Ilana Weinberg is the Managing Producer for International Programming at AAM. She oversees unique media projects in Afghanistan and Tunisia, and has produced dozens of talk shows, documentaries and public affairs programs for hosts and journalists across the Middle East and South Asia through AAM's Journalism Fellowship Program.
Ilana joined AAM in 2006, and has worked on various programmatic aspects in the organization since then. Previously, Ilana worked as the assistant to veteran journalist Marvin Kalb in the DC office of Harvard’s Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics, and Public Policy. She also interned for ABC News with producers at both Nightline and Primetime, and was an intern on Capitol Hill in the Press Office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
Ilana graduated with honors with a B.A. in journalism from the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs.
